Purchase conditions
All purchase orders / subcontracting are subject to the general rules detailed below:
1.- ORDER ACCEPTANCE
All supplies must conform to the conditions stated in our order, including delivery time, price, payment terms, etc. In case of disagreement with any of these conditions, the supplier must state this in writing immediately and obtain our approval before fulfilling the order. If no objection is raised within 10 days of the date of our order, we consider that the supplier fully accepts the conditions stipulated therein and the right of access, by TAES, our client, and regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of all facilities, at any level of the supply chain, involved in the order and to all records. The supplier will transmit to its subcontractors the applicable requirements in the purchasing documents, including the key features.
3.- DELIVERY DATE
The delivery date is understood as the date of receipt of the material in our facilities. In case of non-compliance with the delivery date, TAES reserves the right to cancel the order.
4.- MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION
Each shipment will be accompanied by a delivery note indicating: order number, product code, description and quantity. Each package will indicate the contents and the order number to which it corresponds.
5.- RECEPTION CONTROL
The material will be considered received once the corresponding verification has been carried out by our Quality Control department, in accordance with the quality standards applicable in each case. All defective material detected will be returned to the supplier at the supplier’s expense. However, TAES is authorized, due to production needs, to select or carry out the necessary recovery work to correct the defects found, with the cost of these operations being borne by the supplier.
6.- INVOICING
The invoice must be sent correctly completed, stating: order number and delivery note number, product code, description, quantity, unit price and amount. If the amount does not match the agreed price, the invoice will be returned. If the invoice is not received within a maximum of 10 days from the receipt of the order, the due date will be set from the date of receipt.
7.- RECORDS
The supplier or subcontractor must keep quality records for at least 5 years, unless otherwise indicated in a note on the order. Prior authorization from ATAES must be requested for its destruction.
8.- DOCUMENTATION
The supplier or subcontractor must send the Dimensional Reports and/or Product Conformity Certificates
9.- NON-CONFORMING PRODUCT
If detected, the supplier or subcontractor must notify the Non-Conforming Product and request approval from TAES for its disposition
10.- REQUIREMENTS CHANGE CONTROL
The supplier or subcontractor must notify changes to the product and/or process, changes to suppliers, changes to facility locations, and any other change that may affect the product’s conformity with requirements.
11.- RIGHT OF ACCESS
The supplier or subcontractor must allow TAES, its customers and regulatory authorities that request it, access to its facilities and all applicable records for verification purposes.
12.- PERFORMANCE CONTROL
The supplier or subcontractor, in accordance with the control process of suppliers and subcontractors of the TAES quality system, will be evaluated continuously, according to procedure kTR06-SupplierEvaluation, and taking into account criteria of service quality, compliance with agreed deadlines and/or of the products supplied.
13.- PREVENTION OF COUNTERFEIT PARTS
The supplier or subcontractor will plan, implement and control the processes, appropriate for the organization and the product, for the prevention of counterfeit or suspect counterfeit parts from entering the supply chain.
14.- QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The supplier or subcontractor must (whenever required) have a quality system in accordance with EN 9100 or ISO 9001 certified by an accredited third party entity.
The supplier or subcontractor must take the necessary actions to ensure that people in their organization are aware of:
– Their contribution to product or service conformity
– Its contribution to product safety
– The importance of ethical behavior
