Precision deep drilling was the focus of TAES’ participation at MIDEST – GLOBAL INDUSTRIE, held in Paris. The trade fair was part of our internationalization strategy and our positioning in the European industrial market.

TAES had its own stand at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte, specifically in Hall 6, Area 14B, Stand 6N84. For four days, we shared our technical capabilities with professionals from various industrial sectors.

Participating in MIDEST allowed us to showcase our expertise as a technical partner for companies working with critical components, complex geometries, and tight tolerance requirements.

A strategic trade fair for connecting with European industry

MIDEST – GLOBAL INDUSTRIE is a key meeting point for industrial companies, manufacturers, and specialized technical suppliers. For TAES, attending this fair provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships, initiate new conversations, and present concrete solutions.

Our communication before and during the fair focused on inviting customers and professional contacts to learn more about our capabilities. It also allowed us to showcase real-world examples of machined parts and discuss specific projects.

When a part is critical and there’s no room for error, technical expertise makes all the difference. This was one of the main ideas we wanted to convey during the trade fair.

TAES as a technical partner, not just a supplier

Participation in MIDEST served to reinforce a key idea: TAES is not just a machining supplier. We specialize in solving complex challenges associated with precision deep drilling.

This proposition is especially relevant for industrial sectors that work with highly demanding parts. These include aerospace, automotive, wind energy, industrial machinery, molds, oil & gas, and sporting firearms.

In these types of projects, simply having the machinery isn’t enough. It’s also essential to understand material behavior, critical tolerances, and the geometry of each part.

Technical capabilities presented at MIDEST

During the trade fair, TAES presented its main technical services. These include high-precision deep drilling, CNC gun drilling, BTA drilling for large diameters, trepanning, and redrilling.

We also highlighted our new finishing, burnishing, and lapping services. These additions expand our value proposition and allow us to offer more comprehensive solutions from a single technical partner.

Finishing, burnishing, and lapping for demanding parts

The new finishing, burnishing, and lapping services address a very specific need: improving the uniformity, cylindricity, and surface finish of parts.

In demanding industrial projects, the final finish can be as important as the drilling process itself. Therefore, incorporating these services allows us to provide a more complete solution for clients who require precision, reliability, and technical control.

These capabilities reinforce TAES’s position as a specialist in high-demand solutions. Furthermore, they facilitate coordination by consolidating different processes with a single provider.

Production capacity ready for complex projects

Another key message during MIDEST was TAES’s production capacity. The company boasts over 50 years of experience, 5,000 m² of facilities, and 28 drilling machines.

It also processes parts weighing up to 50 tons and measuring 11 meters in length, with diameters ranging from 2.5 to 350 mm. This capacity is complemented by over 10,000 orders per year, more than 1,000 active clients, and an average delivery time of less than 5 days.

These figures reflect a clear technical and operational reality. TAES can respond to a wide variety of industrial projects, from single parts to larger-volume requirements.

In the field of precision deep drilling, this combination of experience, production resources, and technical expertise allows the company to tackle complex challenges with confidence.

Our participation in MIDEST was a positive experience. The trade fair allowed us to engage in meaningful conversations with industry professionals, share machining challenges, and present concrete technical solutions.

It also opened new business opportunities in an international industrial environment. Beyond visibility, MIDEST served as a strategic platform for connecting industrial needs with specialized technical capabilities.

TAES’s presence in Paris reinforces our position as a company specializing in precision deep drilling for demanding industrial sectors.
